Evita

I am a lover of musicals and as I have the possibility to travel around the world, I take the opportunity to see many Musicals and from different productions. I had already assist to Evita musical time ago, in a show in South Africa, which I liked very much and so I was expecting a lot from this London production. After about thirty minutes from the start of the show, I was already disappointed by the bad directing, set design in my opinion very monotonous and low artistic. The worst part of that, was to see that there was no “ensable” and harmony between the singers, I was like if everyone did their own show without respecting the values of Musical and without sing in harmony. I know the “Dominion Theatre” as I could watch "we will rock you" and as this theatre is one of the most technological theaters of London, I was hoping to see a super show... instead I have to say that for the first time in my life I came out with very dissatisfied and a bit sad. I want to point out that many people have gone off during the break between the two part of the show and some even during the show. Very embarrassing situation. The good thing is that it’s on stage for only seven weeks in what would have been a waste of money for the theater and the production. Sorry to suggest you but do not go to see Evita !
